Can I talk about how much i love INCUBUS!!

Incubus where should I begin....

once upon a time, when I was a lot younger then I am now, I heard a song called "drive." I know it may seem like the cheesiest song now. but it was really awesome back then in the early 2000's. Pop music was all over the place, Britney Spears, 'NSYNC, Backstreet Boys Christina Aguilera, those were the typical subject of every teens desire back then. Of course I followed in that...duh! but really I loved alternative rock, esp Incubus.

Fast forward about 13 years...Still a fan but now its different because it has helped me overcome a lot of difficult things in my life. Idk what it is but Brandon Boyd has a way with words. I often wonder how he comes up with those lyrics. I could spend hours trying to decipher what he really means. He is my Idol. I met him once but I was too star struck to even ask for an autograph, instead I just kind of stood next to my friend in the picture because I didn't have the courage to shake his hand or give him a hug. I REGRET IT!! to this day im kicking myself for the missed opportunity. I hope to meet him again someday, I mean he does live in Southern Cali by the beach, so a chance encounter is very possible :)

I wouldn't even be able to start naming which of the bands songs are my favorites, because I love them all...."I miss you" "stellar" "diamonds and coal" are just a few of the ones I catch myself playing over and over.

getting to know who I am.

This is my first post on a real blog, EVER. I am curious to find out who would find me interesting enough to read on a daily basis, that is, if i get around to it every day. Anywho, I mainly decided to start blogging as a means to have some sort of control over my life. I'm 24 years old, work part time in a crazy busy retail store and am a full time college student. I am an avid lover of creativity, photography, art, books, music, fashion, beauty, health and fitness, learning about  weird things, basically I have many interests and hobbies and I would love a place to just talk about it all.

A few fun facts about yours truly:
I was born on Halloween 1988
My first car accident was on October Friday 13th 2006.
I love Chanel but yet to own anything authentic, the store intimidates me
I have an obsession of collecting makeup palettes.
I fluctuate between purple, pink and teal as my favorite colors.
I wish i was a princess.
I understand the concept of playing guitar but I have never mastered a complete song.
I worked as a photographer for Lifetouch for a few seasons.
I recently found out that I have a long lost half older sister who was born a year before me born in the same month!
I love thrift store shopping.
I enjoy listening to Incubus and love the fact that the members live within an hour of where i do, so glad to have met them as well.
I collect vinyl.
I have hypothyroidism
